Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy explains what data ClipMyApp collects, why, and what control you have over it. ClipMyApp is operated by Linkintel Inc. (“Linkintel”, “we”, “us”). The short version: we collect what we need to run the product, we don’t sell your data, and you can delete your account and content whenever you want.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
- Product material you provide to generate content: your website address, written answers about your product, screen recordings, images, and other uploads.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests.
Information created by using the Service
- Generated posts, edits, approvals, and scheduling choices — the working state of your account.
- Usage and device data: log entries, IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to fix problems.
Information from connected services
- Billing status from Stripe. Your full card number never reaches our servers.
- When you connect a social account (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), the platform gives us a limited token to publish on your behalf, plus basic account identifiers (like the account name). We do not receive your social media passwords.
2. How we use it
- To run the product: generate content from your material, render and store your posts, and publish the ones you approve on schedule.
- To handle billing, trials, and credits.
- To keep the Service secure and diagnose failures.
- To send you service messages (like trial and billing notices) and, if you opt in, product updates. Marketing emails always include an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploads to train our own AI models or anyone else’s.
3. AI processing
Content generation is powered by Google’s AI models (the Gemini and Veo families). To create your posts, relevant parts of your material — your website text, answers, and screen recordings — are sent to Google for processing under our agreement with them. We send what the generation needs, not your whole account.
4. Who else processes data
We share data only with the providers that make the Service work:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Google — AI content generation (see above).
- Cloudflare — file storage and delivery for your uploads and rendered posts.
- The social platforms you connect — to publish the posts you approved.
- Infrastructure and email providers that host the Service and deliver service messages.
Each provider receives only what its job requires. If we are ever required to disclose data by law, we will disclose the minimum required.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember product preferences. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on the Service.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data and content: for as long as your account exists. Deleting a recording, post, or your whole account removes the underlying files from active storage; backups age out on a fixed schedule afterwards.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security logs: kept for a limited window, then deleted.
7. Your rights
Wherever you live, we honor these basics: you can access the data we hold about you, correct it, export your content, and delete your account and its data. If you are in a region with specific privacy laws (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights — including objecting to certain processing and lodging a complaint with your local authority. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]; we respond to verified requests within the timelines the law sets.
8. Security
Data moves over encrypted connections and is stored with access controls; passwords are hashed; payment details stay with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you as the law requires.
9. Children
ClipMyApp is not for children. You must be at least 18 to use it, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email or inside the product before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
